We were contacted by the customer following reports of a leaking lead waterpipe. The customer wanted to have the pipework replaced as soon as possible as it was causing damage inside the property.
Mole Home Services arranged for a site engineer to attend as soon as possible. Once at the property the severity of the leak was assessed, and the works booked in for the following day to prevent any further damage to the property.
The engineers proceeded the next day to install 20 meters of 25mm MDPE pipework, bringing it into the property in an INSUduct Riser box. The pipework was connected internally to the existing cold feed and externally to the stop tap in the footpath. The old lead pipework was cut and capped.
