This customer contacted Mole Home Services to replace their old lead water main. The pipework had a few minor leaks which had resulted in decreased pressure.
We sent an initial quote over from a Google Earth survey and followed this up with a site survey. The customer had recently had some new flooring laid, but we were able to replace the lead water main without disturbing the flooring.
We attended the property and installed approximately 28 meters of 25mm MDPE pipework. We installed a branch by teeing into the main to provide a supply to the garage for the washing machine. Pipework was brought into the property in a 4inch pre-insulated duct with a new stop tap.
Once pipework was installed the flow rate had increased to 23 lpm which was a massive improvement.
All grounds were reinstated.
